Salary Range:  $39,150 - $46,059
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Summary

The Research Coordinator I will assist with the implementation and oversight of clinical and behavioral research studies focused on mental health and treatment outcomes. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in Statistics, Psychology, or a related field, and offers hands-on experience in research data management, analysis, and regulatory compliance within a collaborative academic environment.

 

This research focuses on children and adolescents with mental illness, specifically those experiencing depression and anxiety. Candidates with experience or interest in psychiatry are encouraged to apply for this coordinator role. Teamwork is essential, as the position involves collaboration with other research coordinators. The role is eligible for a hybrid schedule, combining in-office and work-from-home arrangements.

Job Duties

  • Collect, clean, and manage study data from clinical assessments, surveys, and electronic health records using platforms such as REDCap and Excel.
  • Conduct statistical analyses and generate summary reports using statistical software.
  • Design and maintain research databases to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.
  • Contribute to data visualization and interpretation of findings for abstracts, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Coordinate study activities, including participant scheduling, informed consent, and documentation, in compliance with IRB protocols.
  • Support literature reviews and the development of study-related training materials.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Psychology, Biostatistics, or related field.
  • Experience with data analysis and familiarity with research methodology.
  • Familiarity with behavioral or psychiatric research is a plus.
