Summary

Responsible for assisting with the development, communication, oversight and monitoring of programs related to research compliance areas including, but not limited to, research involving human subjects, animal care and use, conflict of interest, research integrity and/or grant congruency.

Job Duties

• Performs initial and ongoing research protocol reviews and provides advice to faculty and research staff.
• Performs protocol audits as required.
• Serves as liaison for designated research protocols/studies.
• Resolves routine issues involving research protocols including direct communication with investigators and research staff.
• Maintains databases to provide statistical information for reports, documents, and publications, as needed.
• Ensures accurate management of records for regulatory review.
• Coordinates information to meet protocol reporting requirements.
• Coordinates committee meetings including, formulating agenda materials, maintaining meeting minutes and tracking components of the review process, including communication with other offices.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding subjects, records, and review of issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. No experience required with Bachelor’s degree.
