Summary

A position for a high level research professional is available for a motivated and independent research professional in a cancer immunotherapy laboratory with additional opportunities in transplantation tolerance. The ideal candidate will have exceptional laboratory skills in tissue culture, animal husbandry, PCR, and immunologic assays. In addition to project management and technical responsibilities, the ideal job candidate will be well-trained in cell therapy GMP for direct participation in the manufacturing of cell products. Ability to trouble-shoot independently, evaluate new techniques, write technical reports, and liaise with industry will also be critical attributes.

Job Duties

• Performs basic research laboratory techniques and animal husbandry
• Assists others with basic research laboratory techniques and animal husbandry
• Performs cell therapy GMP productions
• Assists and supervises others is the production of cell therapy GMP products
• Summarizes and reports innovations in cell therapy GMP manufacturing techniques
• Liaises with industrial contacts to assist in clinical translation of cell therapy GMP manufacturing techniques
• Performs other job related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in basic science or a related field.
