Summary
The Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Clinic is seeking a psychometrician to join an active research team engaged in Alzheimer’s disease prevention and treatment trials. This position will be responsible for administering and scoring comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for research participants, interpreting and reporting test results, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of study data. This position will support the Alzheimers section, so having some knowledge or experience in a this would be ideal along with experience in administering cognitive testing.
This is a part-time position and fully onsite located in our McNair Campus.
Job Duties
- Administers one-on-one neuropsychological test batteries to individual research participants. (40%)
- Scores and reports neuropsychological test results. (30%)
- Maintains and updates regulatory documents, procedures manuals, subjects' case report forms, and source documents. (20%)
- Scheduling research study visits and conducting other assessments specified in the research protocol. (5%)
- Trains and orients other psychometricians and technicians in the procedures of specific trials. (5%)
- May recruit subjects or assist in other research study efforts (As needed)
- May assist with submitting research study protocols and consent form to Baylor's Institutional Review Board. (As needed)
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in Psychology or related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters' degree in a related field.
- Experience in administering cognitive testing.
