Summary
This is a Psychology Fellow position that will work in apprentice mode under Dr. Patricia Daza and will participate in projects focused on treating individuals with complex mental illness. In particular, work on peer support services is highlighted as a key area. The Psychology Fellow will participate in treatment, and case conceptualization under guidance of a Psychologist.
Job Duties
- Involved in activities that may include treatment, case conceptualization, and clinical research under the guidance of faculty who serve as clinical and/or research supervisors.
- Evaluates and analyzes data independently.
- Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
- Develops service line focused on peer support services participating in all aspects necessary to accomplish this goal.
- Documents clinical activities.
- Develops projects focused on peer support services.
- Duties to be assigned at a future date.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD from an accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology. Completion of an APA-accredited predoctoral internship no more than five years prior to the initial appointment date.
- Experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting. Experience administering psychological test batteries, including projective measures.
