The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Clinical Psychologist for the new initiative, the Family Intervention for Suicide Prevention (FISP) on the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium. The Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical service and supervision for the new program and participate in research opportunities related to the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium.



  • Provide clinical services and clinical supervision for Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium initiatives.
  • Establish and implement a measurement-based care approach for various treatment and consortium endeavors.
  • Establish partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium and Baylor College of Medicine Psychology Leadership to provide updates on programs, as well as participate in mission driven tasks.
  • Coordinate across program sites to ensure consistency in assessment and treatment across sites.
  • Participate in grant writing activities.
  • Produce manuscripts and quality improvement analyses for projects, including statistical analysis.
  • Collect data for publications.
  • Performs other duties to be assigned which are not specified at this time.


Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
