Summary

The Menninger Clinic is seeking a staff neuropsychologist to join our excellent team of professionals. The Staff Neuropsychologist is responsible for applying the knowledge, skills, and perspectives of clinical neuropsychology to the services provided at The Menninger Clinic, including, but not limited to, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, consultation, education, training, supervision, research, and administration. This neuropsychologist will provide neuropsychological testing and other clinical services as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Staff Neuropsychologist will also have the opportunity to interact with trainees in psychiatry, psychology, social work, and nursing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology
  • Licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology
  • Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Demonstrated clinical skill
  • Strong grounding in diagnostic evaluation and intensive individual psychotherapy
  • Familiarity with a wide range of assessment and treatment modalities
  • Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to education
  • Current CPR certification

 

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years of post-fellowship experience
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated work in an interdisciplinary team treatment setting
