Summary
The Menninger Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine (www.bcm.edu/psychiatry) is recruiting a full-time clinical psychologist for their Ben Taub Hospital Outpatient Psychiatry Service. This position involves the treatment of adults using individual and group psychotherapies, including but not limited to CBT and DBT. The position also involves conducting evaluations, cognitive/intellectual assessments, and addressing general referrals for diagnostic clarification. The successful applicant will work with multidisciplinary teams of psychiatrists, other physicians, social workers, nurses, and substance abuse counselors to deliver services using evidence-based treatments.
Baylor faculty members train psychology fellows and interns in our APA accredited Program, as well as medical students, psychiatry residents, and other health care trainees. Productivity is measured by Relative Value Units (RVUs) with targets based on the average for AAMC faculty and consideration given for any externally supported activity.
Appointment will be on the clinician-educator track with rank and salary open, based on experience and training. Prior to starting, the applicant must possess a Texas license to practice Psychology. Minimum Education: Ph.D. or PsyD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology
Minimum Certification/Licenses/Registration: Position requires a State of Texas License in Psychology.
