Summary

The division/section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Board Electable/Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a rapidly growing service that is undergoing an exciting expansion of its' clinical, education and research mission in a pre-eminent children's hospital and integrated pediatric healthcare system. This position based in Austin, will involve outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry, consultation/liaison, tele-psychiatry, and children with complex medical and psychiatric problems. This position provides a potential for a mixture of clinical, education and research opportunities depending on the applicant's interest and experience. Successful candidates should be eligible for faculty appointments at Baylor College of Medicine at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels.

Our Austin Urgent Care opened in March 2018, fourteen pediatric practices currently operate in the Austin area, and our first Specialty Care Center opened in October 2019. The Specialty Care Center is located at 8611 North Mopac Expressway, approximately 10 miles south of the North Austin Campus. The North Austin Campus will provide a full scope of care for both pediatric and women's services.  Texas Children's presence in Austin helps deliver regional coordination of care and is synergistic to the core services offered at our Texas Medical Center campus in Houston.

Qualifications:
