Summary

The Baylor College of Medicine Human Genome Sequencing Center-Sedlazeck Lab is seeking to recruit a project intern to work with the Sedlazeck Team to work toward the development of computational methods to identify and characterize complex variations in the human genome.
 

Job Duties

  • Performing sequence analyses on large genomic datasets of long-read.
  • Mapping / Assembly, variant calling, interpretation/annotation.
  • Research and assess third-party bioinformatics software, for utilization in projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
  • No experience required.
