Summary

This position oversees the administration of one or more education programs, including undergraduate, graduate, residency, fellowship, clerkship, continuing medical education, or other College-affiliated education programs by planning, executing and managing a number of activities at any given time to ensure that there are defined objectives, budgeted resources and an established timelines for completion of the objectives on time and on budget. This position also analyzes objectives and timelines to engage stakeholders in development of action plan and processes for project completion from inception to evaluation and develops processes, including tools and reports, to assist with objective completion.

Oversees the administration of one or more education programs, including undergraduate, graduate, residency, fellowship, clerkship, continuing medical education, or other College-affiliated education programs.

Job Duties

  • Organizes stakeholder effort as it relates to assigned activities and provides guidance to personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of the project.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements to existing processes and as it relates to assigned activities.
  • Tracks project resources to ensure meeting resource and budget expectations.
  • Reviews and develops presentations to inform stakeholders of project status, project impediments and recommends adjustments as necessary.
  • Assists with strategic planning initiatives and process improvement efforts.
  • Monitors compliance with accreditation guidelines; compiles documentation to support compliance and accreditation efforts.
  • Drafts, reviews and updates operations policies and procedures; recommends improvements.
  • May assist with budget development and monitoring, grant submissions, and/or grant pre- and post- award activities.
  • Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area to internal stakeholders and counterparts.
  • Communicates with contacts both within and outside of job area on matters that require some explanation or interpretation.
  • Influences parties within job area regarding concepts, practices and approaches.  
  • Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with limited experience.
  • Demonstrates competence.
  • May provide guidance, help with training and review work of entry level employees.
  • May lead parts of less complex projects or processes.  
  • Works to achieve operational, functional, and/or business targets within job area with direct impact on job area results.
  • Established and productive contributor; continuously improves on processes and systems that may require understanding of a broader set of issues or other job areas.
  • Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/ assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
