Title: Program Management Associate
This position supports the Special Projects sponsored by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). Included are three Special Projects-Initiative for Maximizing Student Development, IMSD; Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program, PREP; and the Summer Medical Research Training program, SMART. This position will report to the SMART and IMSD/PREP directors.
- Serve as the program manager of education efforts for Special Projects.
- Maintain longitudinal and active participation in all Special Projects curricula and in trainee and faculty development activities.
- Liaise with Special Projects directors regarding course execution and logistics and instructional technology and assessment teams.
- Manage the collection of assessments and program evaluation information, in coordination with Special Projects directors and assessment team.
- Teach portions of PREP Molecular and Cellular Biology course.
- Manage the IMSD summer review courses.
- Participates in and maintains National Research Mentorship Network (NRMN) for Special Projects and support development of additional course components.
- Manages the NRMN integration into GSBS programs.
- Maintain and develop Special Projects websites and social media accounts.
- Liaise with SMART director to facilitate mentor matching.
- Design and manage marketing/outreach for all special project programs.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Databases and survey monkey.

- Education expertise in direct instruction and/or course development.

- Required: Bachelor's degree.
- Required: Two years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: PhD.
