The Pharmacology and Chemical Biology department at Baylor College of Medicine has an Immunology Postdoctoral Research position available.
Our goal is to apply our expertise in the PROTAC/degrader therapeutics area to immunology and cancer immunology. We have developed a few first-in-class compounds that hit some important targets in the immunology related pathways. We’d like to recruit a highly motivated immunologist to join this exciting journey.

Job Duties

  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals. 
  • Responsible for laboratory operations.
  • Serves as supervisor for research staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in immunology or related fields. 
  • The candidate should have at least two first and co-first authored publications in internationally recognized journals.
  • Extensive experience with animal models, immune profiling, and other common molecular biology techniques.
  • Motivated, independent, creative, and energetic, and willing to step out of his/her comfort zone to learn new techniques and knowledge in chemistry.
