Title: Postdoctoral Associate
Job Purpose
Looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate in the Sreekumar lab. We are a dedicated to scientific research focusing on cancer Biology and Metabolism. This specifics of this research are to study the function PI: METABOLIC REWIRING DRIVES AFRICAN-AMERICAN PCA BY ALTERING STROMAL-EPITHELIAL INTERACTION.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- May establish new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in research cancer biology, metabolism, and signal transduction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in prostate cancer and in vivo tumor studies.
- Worked in prostate cancer with prior publication in a relatively decent impact journal, 8 and above.
- Significant experiance in in vivo mouse models and mouse surgeries.
- Experience with SubQ, intra prostatic, intra cardiac and tail vein injections.
- Well versed with Crisper and ShRNA based genetic engineering, 3D organoid model generation, molecular biology and protein chemistry.
- No more than a year of postdoctoral experience.
