The Postdoctoral Associate will evaluate the metabolic and epigenetic drivers of immune exhaustion as it relates to mycobacterial immunity.

Job Duties
  • Plan, direct and conduct specialized and advanced research experiments in the fields of metabolism, epigenetics and immunology
  • Coordinate and implement molecular biology and targeted epigenetic editing experiments
  • Evaluate and analyze data using FlowJo, CytoBank, SPICE, Volocity, Imaris, R-statistics and other similar programs in order to comprehensively interpret experiments
  • May establish new research protocols and procedures in conjunction with existing projects
  • Summarize above research findings and analysis and communicate these findings with the scientific community via journals, conference presentations and grants
  • May be responsible for laboratory operations including assisting with laboratory orders
  • Supervise research technicians, graduate and under-graduate researchers
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education Required: Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • Experience Required: Metabolism, Epigenetic-editing, Flow cytometry, microscopy, microbiology
  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: None Required.
