Summary
A Postdoctoral Associate position is available at the Surgical Bioengineering Research Lab in the Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. The postdoctoral associate will support the Principal Investigator to design, execute and control of laboratory research studies. They will assist in training and mentoring lab personnel, and day-to-day lab management and organization.
Job Duties
- Independently work within a dynamic multidisciplinary group.
- Read and evaluate current scientific literature.
- Plan and conduct experiments, analyze data, and regularly present findings at lab meetings.
- Contribute to manuscript preparation, including generating figures, tables, and charts.
- Assist in training and mentoring lab personnel, and day-to-day lab management and organization.
- Possess interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with others.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in chemistry, bio engineering, or molecular biology.
