Summary

The laboratory of Dr. Leo Luznik at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join a dynamic and translational research team focused on dissecting the immune microenvironment in acute myeloid leukemia and post-allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. Our work investigates mechanisms of T cell dysfunction, immune escape, and clonal evolution leading to leukemia relapse, with the goal of developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies.

The fellow will have access to cutting-edge tools including genetically engineered mouse models, single-cell multi-omics (scRNA-seq, CITE-seq, CyTOF), and patient-derived samples from institutional trials. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about tumor immunology, hematologic malignancies, and translational research.

Environment & Mentorship:

The Luznik Lab offers a supportive, collaborative environment with strong mentoring. Postdocs will benefit from individualized career development plans and opportunities to lead high-impact projects that bridge basic and translational research. The lab is part of a vibrant research community within Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Medical Center, with ample opportunities for collaboration and career advancement.
