Summary

The Psychology Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is recruiting a Pediatric Psychologist to engage in program development and provide clinical services for a new program focused on supporting transition to adult care for adolescents and young adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a thriving Division and co-lead a new transition-focused clinical program. The psychologist in this position will partner with a multidisciplinary team to develop and launch a clinical program to address the unique behavioral, social, and psychological needs of adolescents and young adults with IBD through the transition process from pediatrics to adult care. Care spans the inpatient and outpatient setting, and consultation with multidisciplinary medical providers and learners will be expected. Training, innovation, program development, and clinical research are expected in this position.

Minimum Qualifications

• A doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with a specialization in child clinical psychology
• Completed both an APA-accredited psychology internship and postdoctoral training in child clinical psychology
• Licensure or license-eligibility in Texas
