Summary
The Psychology Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is recruiting a mid-career Pediatric Psychologist to join and grow our Psycho-Oncology program. This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving Division in a role that will include significant program development and projected growth.
The individual in this role will join a team of dedicated pediatric psychologists, neuropsychologists, and psychology learners providing evaluation and intervention services to patients of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center/Kinder Children’s Cancer Center at the Texas Children’s Hospital Houston Medical Center Campus. Kinder Children’s Cancer Center is a first-of-its-kind, joint venture between Texas Children’s Hospital and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center focused on ending childhood cancer. Clinical services will span the inpatient and outpatient settings, and consultation with multidisciplinary medical providers and learners will be expected. Training, innovation, program development, and clinical research are expected in this position.

This faculty neuropsychology position will involve teaching and supervision of neuropsychology post-doctoral fellows within our APPCN-member fellowship program and of interns in our APA- accredited internship program. Both independent and collaborative research/scholarship opportunities are available through partnership with other Division members, as well as our subspecialty partners.
About the Division of Psychology
The Division of Psychology within the Department of Pediatrics includes more than 60 pediatric, clinical, and neuropsychologists practicing across subspecialty areas at Texas Children’s Hospital, providing care in both the inpatient and outpatient environments. BCM, our
academic home, is also home to outstanding psychology training programs at the graduate, internship, and postdoctoral levels.

Minimum Qualifications
A doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with a specialization in child clinical psychology
Completed both an APA-accredited psychology internship and postdoctoral training in child clinical psychology
Licensure or license-eligibility in Texas
