Pediatric Psychologist Position - Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine
The Psychology Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is recruiting a Pediatric Psychologist dedicated to oncology/hematology to join our Psychology Division. The psychologist in this position will join a team of pediatric psychologists providing evaluation and intervention services to children in both the inpatient and outpatient setting at the Texas Children's Hospital Houston Medical Center Campus. Consultations with multidisciplinary medical providers and learners will be expected. Opportunities for training, innovation, program development, and clinical research are built into this position.

The position is based in the Psychology Division of Texas Children's Hospital (TCH), which is the largest children's hospital in the United States and the primary teaching/training center for the Baylor College of Medicine's (BCM) Department of Pediatrics. TCH is one of only ten hospitals nationally designated by U.S. News and World Report for Honor Roll status in pediatrics, ranking in the top 10 for all ranked subspecialties. The Division of Psychology within the Department of Pediatrics includes more than 60 pediatric, clinical, and neuropsychologists practicing across subspecialty areas at Texas Children's Hospital, providing care in both the inpatient and outpatient environments. BCM, our academic home, is also home to outstanding psychology training programs at the graduate, internship, and postdoctoral levels.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates for the position will have obtained:

A doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with a specialization in child clinical psychology.
Completed both an APA-accredited psychology internship and postdoctoral training in child clinical psychology.
Licensure or license-eligibility in Texas.
