Title:  Pediatrics Intensivist (Assistant Professor)

Summary

The Critical Care Division at TCH North Austin Campus is looking for skilled intensivists to provide patient care to critically ill patients in an ICU environment. The provider will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to plan for and provide care for the community's pediatric patient population.

Austin presents a clear and compelling opportunity to extend Texas Children's mission to a large and growing population of children and women where there is currently a need for programmatically integrated healthcare. Our Austin Urgent Care opened in March 2018, fourteen pediatric practices currently operate in the Austin area, and our first Specialty Care Center opened in October 2019. The Specialty Care Center is located at 8611 North Mopac Expressway, approximately 10 miles south of the North Austin Campus. The North Austin Campus will provide a full scope of care for both pediatric and women's services.  Texas Children's presence in Austin helps deliver regional coordination of care and is synergistic to the core services offered at our Texas Medical Center campus in Houston.

Prospective candidates should be ABP board certified in Pediatrics, and ABP board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Critical Care. Prospective candidates may also be dually ABP board eligible or ABP board certified in Pediatric Cardiology. Texas Medical licensure is also required for this position.
