Summary

The Baylor College of Medicine Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is excited to announce job openings for inpatient faculty positions at our brand-new Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) - North Austin Campus. This is an opportunity to join a diverse group of dynamic hospitalists that have interests in family-centered care, clinical research, teaching, quality improvement and patient safety. Potential candidates must be BC/BE in Pediatrics and are expected to have excellent communication and time management skills. Candidates who are BC/BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine are preferred, but this is not a requirement. This position also offers the opportunity to interact and collaborate with world-renowned subspecialists from the number one rated children's hospital in Texas and the number two children's hospital in the nation per USNWR 2022-2023 rankings.

Austin presents a clear and compelling opportunity to extend TCH's mission to a large and growing population of children and women where there is currently a need for programmatically integrated healthcare. Our Austin Urgent Care opened in March 2018, fourteen pediatric practices currently operate in the Austin area, and our first Specialty Care Center opened in October 2019. The Specialty Care Center is located at 8611 North Mopac Expressway, approximately 10 miles south of the North Austin Campus. Our division is committed to faculty development with many opportunities for research, administrative experience, and academic advancement. Mentorship is available from colleagues with varied career interests, both within our division and across our institution. In addition, faculty development opportunities are offered through the centers for education, quality improvement, and research within Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital.
