Summary

The Department of Pediatrics is currently seeking an Assistant Professor to:

  • Devote ≥80% effort to research during the CPRIT award period
  • Establish a nationally competitive, independently funded research program within 3–4 years
  • Publish high-impact manuscripts and secure NIH and foundation funding
  • Train and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, clinical fellows, and instructors
  • Contribute limited, mission-aligned clinical service in pediatric immunology and oncology.

Job Duties

  • Research
  • Provide safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care at TCH Main Campus in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Role model ethical and professional behavior with every interaction.
  • Supervise and educate medical appropriate in the care of Immunology patients.
  • Educate and supervise trainees including fellows, residents, medical students, and advanced practice practitioners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified/eligible in Allergy & Immunology
