Summary
The Department of Pediatrics-Psychology is recruiting for a Generalist Pediatric Psychologist .
The psychologist in this position with join other psychologists providing evaluation and intervention services to children and adolescents in both the inpatient and outpatient setting across medical populations. Children are referred through their primary medical team including: gastroenterology, pulmonology, dermatology, neurology, allergy and immunology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and rheumatology. Experience in assessment and treatment of functional disorders is preferred.
Consultation with medical providers and close collaboration with members of multidisciplinary medical teams will be expected for this position, as well as participation in the development of clinical programs.
Faculty positions are Assistant Professor, clinician-educator positions in the Psychology Division, Department of Pediatrics. In addition to patient care and training learners in our internship and fellowship programs, all faculty members are expected to contribute to the College's academic mission. Both independent and collaborative research/scholarship opportunities are available through partnership with other Division members, as well as our subspecialty partners.

The Division of Psychology within the Department of Pediatrics includes more than 40 pediatric, clinical, and neuropsychologists practicing across subspecialty areas at Texas Children's Hospital, providing care in both the inpatient and outpatient environments. BCM, our academic home, is also home to outstanding psychology training programs at the graduate, internship, and postdoctoral levels.

Minimum Qualifications
- Clinical (Pediatric) Psychologist licensed or license eligible in TX
- Training and/or experience in providing multidisciplinary evaluation and intervention.
- Experience working in an academic medical center or other institution where children are served
- Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong leadership/communication skills
- Bilingual applications strongly encouraged to apply
Education:
- PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited graduate school
- Completion of an APA accredited internship
- Completion of fellowship
