Summary
The Section of Hematology/Oncology of the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a full-time faculty position at CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package. The rank of the appointment will be determined by the candidates' credentials and experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to management of outpatient and inpatient care for Pediatric Hematology and Oncology patients; provision of inpatient care as part of a rotation consisting of other physicians; management of phone calls from parents via page operator in the evening/weekends/holidays; performance of procedures (bone marrow, lumbar puncture) on patients as indicated.
Minimum Education:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
Minimum Job Experience:
- Related experience required
Minimum Certification/Licenses/Registration:
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
- Board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (or eligible for same) by the American Board of Pediatrics.
