Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Educating medical students, residents and fellows, biomedical scientists, and allied health professionals.
  • Maintaining a diverse, well rounded, multidisciplinary faculty of the highest quality and expertise.
  • Fostering public awareness of diseases and disorders of the head and neck systems and their causes.
  • Promoting health and prevention of diseases of the head and neck systems and related structures.



Minimum Education: M.D. or equivalent


Applicants must be board-eligible or board-certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas and eligible to work in the United States. In addition to a strong clinical background in otolaryngology, the candidate should have a demonstrable interest in pursuing research or teaching in an academic division which supports an active residency training program.
