The Cullen Eye Institute of Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member in Ophthalmic Plastics, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery to join our Ophthalmology Service at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The ideal candidate should have demonstrated excellent clinical and surgical abilities in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the periocular area, which includes the eyelids, eyebrows, eye socket/orbit and tear duct/lacrimal system. Oculoplastic surgeons are uniquely qualified having trained extensively in both ophthalmic surgery and plastic surgery exclusive to the eyelid area.  An oculoplastic surgeon will improve and treat conditions of the periocular area and possess outstanding interpersonal skills.  The candidate must be committed to teaching and superior patient care.  Applicants must be board eligible or certified.  Primary responsibilities for this position will include clinical, educational, and research duties at the Cullen Eye Institute and affiliated hospitals.  There will be ample teaching and training opportunities with residents, fellows, and medical students, and clinical retina fellows. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
