Summary

An Assistant Professor position (non-tenure track) is available in the Rasband lab in the Department of Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. The applicant will work on a project to explore the structure and function of the AIS and develop new approaches that will further refine the understanding of the AIS proteome and how these proteins interact.

 

Job Duties:

  • Plans, directs and conducts research experiments
  • Perform behavior studies using transgenic mice
  • Work closely with other lab members as necessary to achieve project goals
  • Document all procedures and experiments in order to maintain good research practices and compliance with BCM and other authorities
