Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Epidemiology Program within the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Manager, Clinical Research to support the increasing complexity and volume of multisite and corporative group, such as Children's Oncology Group (COG), studies conducted within the EPI Center - Survivorship Program. This role will fill a critical gap by providing targeted oversight of research operations logistics and clinical data workflows that span multiple departments and institutions. The addition will allow us to meet increasing demands of multidisciplinary and cross-institutional studies by reducing duplicative efforts across teams, supporting operational efficiency, and building infrastructure that supports long-term scalability.

Job Duties

  • Leads administrative project management and organizational planning for multi-site and corporative group observational research initiatives. Participates in Section-level meetings with Faculty and administrative leadership and Pre- and Post-Award Teams.
  • Ensures effective workflows, documentation systems, and cross-site coordination tools are in place. Builds long-term infrastructure, operational strategy, and ensures procedural efficiency across teams. 
  • Directs the day-to-day operations for multi-site and corporative group observational studies including study coordination, startup, performance tracking, and protocol implementation.
  • Supervises study research coordinators, including defining work responsibilities/prioritization, conducting annual performance reviews and disciplinary actions, and leading professional development.
  • Oversees the collection, quality assurance, and coordination of clinical data across projects.
  • Provides regulatory oversight by drafting regulatory protocols, scheduling feasibility assessments, assisting with amendments, and coordinating audits and quality control requests.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience as a research coordinator at an academic medical center highly encouraged.
