The Lead Coordinator is responsible for supporting Baylor College of Medicine's (BCM) role as an accredited provider including supporting the daily operations to ensure quality service is provided and compliance is achieved. There is daily contact with stakeholders such as physician faculty, physician learners, and other healthcare professional participants of BCM continuing education.

Job Duties

  • Project manages the compliance components for certified activities to meet deadlines.
  • Supports and liaises with education partners to submit and complete application.
  • Submits and tracks educational grant applications.
  • Supports the development and execution of educational activities (conferences, workshops, and internet enduring activities, and webinars) including registration, preparing documents, tracking attendees, evaluation, etc.
  • Reviews required documentation for completeness, formats, and payments, when due.
  • Updates content, forms and attachments for public consumption.
  • Gathers and analyzes data including preparing reports using ACCME PARS, Excel, MS Word, and Baylor's CME database.
  • Assists in creating educational materials including MS Word and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Creates and reports results of evaluations, pre-/post-tests, and polls.
  • Serves as documentation historian including filing and tracking documents, managing the shared drive, etc.
  • Tracks and monitors expenses.
  • Provides general administrative support: answers phones, respond to general email inquiries, scans documents, schedules and sets up conferences, meetings and webinars.
  • Develops and maintains a tracking system for invoices, fees, and payments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; four years of relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

  • Experience working in an academic medical center preferred.

  • Skilled problem solver, with ability to quickly adapt to changing priories and heavy workloads. 
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; rigorous attention to detail.
