The Lead Coordinator, Almumni Relations and Strategic Initiatives will play an active role in coordinating activities for the Baylor Medical Foundation board, Alumni Affairs, Corporate Alliance, and the Grateful Patient programs. You will report directly to the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Affairs and Strategic Initiatives.  This is a unique entrepreneurial opportunity to be involved in many diverse revenue generating programs within the growing Institutional Advancement department.

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support, for Alumni Affairs, Corporate Alliance, Grateful Patient Programs, and Baylor Medical Foundation (BMF) Board.
    • Baylor Medical Foundation (BMF) Board meeting presentations, taking/approving minutes, communication and follow up.  
    • Collaborate on presentations for outside corporations or internal physician champions. 
    • Support the Alumni Affairs program with events and initiatives for student ambassador board, reunion, alumni executive committee.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with major gift team to help meet the overall annual goals, looking for ways to utilize the Baylor Medical Foundation board.
  • Track departmental budget for the Strategic Initiatives Programs.
  • Stay informed on cases for support for the institution.
  • Maintain knowledge on bylaws for all programs and boards.
  • Maintain records of activities, including, meeting minutes, project activities and timelines.
  • Partner with Alumni Affairs, Corporate Alliance programs, Grateful patient programs and BMF on special projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Six years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Communications, English, Public Relations, or other related field of study.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate accountability, transparency, loyalty, and ethics.
