Summary

The Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine section in the Department of Medicine is seeking an Intern/Aide for Dr. Farrah Kheradmand's lab.

Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.  

Job Duties

• Performs entry level laboratory duties including running polymerase chain reaction for the purpose of conducting routine laboratory needs.
• Observes research related to medical field of lung research and lung cancer.
• Collects research articles related to these topics.
• Assists with lung cancer research and basic lab techniques related to preparing solutions and bench research.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
