Summary
The intern will gain experience in biomedical research by interfacing with trainees and the PI. The intern will work with biomedical datasets and perform bioinformatical and machine learning analyses and image analysis. The intern will gain an understanding of the pathophysiology of human disease. The intern will gain skills in the communication and presentation of scientific data. The intern will gain new skills in machine learning pipelines, model training and data management.
Job Duties
- Attends weekly lab meetings.
- Works with trainees and the PI on data analysis projects.
- Discusses scientific questions and problems with other trainees and the PI.
- Performs other job-duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Has interest in the areas that include artificial intelligence, large language models, image analysis, data science.
