Summary
The internship will begin with an introduction to bioinformatics, project objectives, and foundational training in data handling and analysis. Interns will also learn to build AI-driven applications, including deep learning models and agentic pipelines for automating bioinformatics tasks such as annotation, prediction, and data integration.
Job Purpose
Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.
Job Duties
- Contributes to ongoing projects by managing biological datasets, conducting statistical analyses, and interpreting the results under the guidance of mentors.
- Engages in literature reviews, attends lab meetings, and presents the findings.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
