Summary

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking an Intern/Aide.

Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience. Interns will function as a support member of a team conducting a pediatric nutrition study. The study is operated by the Carotenoids and Nutrition Lab in the Children’s Nutrition Research Center in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine.

Job Duties

• Collaborates with more experienced team members.
• Prepares paper templates and specimen collection supplies for research visits.
• Learns how to double check and resolves research records for fidelity. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
