Summary

The faculty member will dedicate 100% effort to conducting research in a basic science setting and will report directly to the supervisor, Dr. Na Li. This position provides an opportunity for developing independent research projects and contributing to the overall research goals of the section.

Job Duties

• Lead and oversee multiple research projects within the group, including project design, strategic planning, and effective communication with the supervisor.
• Collaborate with the supervisor in preparing and submitting grant applications to secure external funding.
• Develop independent research projects with the potential to obtain external funding and contribute to the scientific community.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior postdoctoral researchers and students within the Li lab, promoting their professional growth and research skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-3 years of teaching experience.
• 4-5 years of postdoctoral training.
• Demonstrated research experience in the field of cardiovascular science.
