This is a new position focused on clinical quality metrics reporting.  Using SQL Developer and Clarity as the primary tools, this position is responsible for build and maintenance of clinical quality metrics for the State of Texas Directed Payment Program (TIPPS). Using specifications provided by the State of Texas Health and Human Services Department, CSM provided code value sets and Epic as the tools to provide the reporting criteria to generate reports based on Epic driven workflows.


This position is eligible to work a hybrid work arrangement.

Job Duties

  • Report generation and documentation of report specifications.
  • Using all available resources and tools, develop SQL code to capture Epic data for 16 specific clinical quality measures.
  • Measure specifications will change each year. Report development and SQL code will need to be developed to meet the measure requirements.
  • Documentation of each measure build will need to be maintained with version control of changes, dates and the specifics of what changed. Specific Epic build could require that we include additional code to capture a specific workflow.
  • Working in conjunction with the Analyst who will have oversight of the entire program, validation and revisions to the reports will be continually monitored and revised as needed.
  • May be asked to develop other similar measures outside of the TIPPS program requirements to support the MIPS and internal Clinical Quality efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
