Administer multiple physician compensation plans in Baylor Medicine with 650+ faculty. Provide regular data analytics, benchmarking performance actual vs. target, and develop individual provider, department, and leadership reports. Serve as subject matter expert on all calculations related to provider compensation.  This position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.


This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work arrangement.

Job Duties

  • Interprets, analyzes, and implements compensation arrangements outlined in Faculty Employment Agreements (FEA).
  • Supports Comp Plan director with data analytics, benchmarking performance, and review of Compensation Plan administration.
  • Manages compensation committee meetings to review and approve compensation plan policies and wRVU targets.
  • Prepares and presents to College and department senior-level executives, department chairs, and administrators comp plan presentations.
  • Conducts comprehensive and complex analyses related to physician compensation and provider productivity.
  • Provides regular communication to department chairs and administrators updates on any major impacts to faulty compensation.
  • Provides guidance and recommendations regarding physician compensation and provider productivity to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborates closely with external appraisers/consultants on the data gathering and analysis for Fair Market Value (FMV) reviews.
  • Trains and provides guidance to new Physician Compensation and Productivity Analysts.
  • Assists with the development of the annual budget.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Reviews FEA for FMV and approve.
  • Manages faculty workforce effort distribution (cFTE), and develops Baylor Medicine's annual recruitment plan.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Eleven years of directly related experience with four years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and seven years of directly related experience with four years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in physician compensation analysis.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
