Position Summary
The Menninger Clinic is seeking a Director of Data Science. The Menninger Director of Data Science is responsible for leading data science for The Menninger Clinic's research department. Duties include leading data management, data processing, analysis, grants, and peer-reviewed publications. The Director of Data Science will have the opportunity to design and implement their own projects. Collaboration across interdisciplinary staff is key. Advanced statistical analysis knowledge and demonstrated ability to apply these approaches to mental health clinical settings and data is required (e.g., SEM, Bayesian, machine learning, longitudinal modeling).
- Director of all data management and analyses at The Menninger Clinic.
- Evaluates and analyzes data for publication and federal and foundation grant submissions.
- May establish new research protocols and procedures.
- Supervision of research staff and faculty engaged in data management and analyses.
- Responsible for management of data ethics and internal security compliance
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- Track record of federal funding
- Associate Professor level or higher
- Advance statistical knowledge
Additional Job Qualifications
- Must have experience with computer programming with MATLAB, Python and/or R.
- Must be interested in working in a clinical mental health setting.
- Must be able to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including having exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Must demonstrate academic productivity
