Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Coordinator, Program Management in the Curriculum Office of the School of Medicine. This position will provide administrative and programmatic support to the Curriculum Office (Deans, Faculty and Staff). The coordinator will handle a multitude of tasks including, travel arrangements, conference management, meeting management & coordination, establish and maintain records, and assist with various educational activities. This position will serve as a key front-line role by providing exemplary customer service to faculty, staff and learners within the School of Medicine. This role requires an ability to work in a team environment, professionalism, good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task. The candidate should also have a can-do attitude, be willing to learn new programs, have the ability to work independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines, and be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.


This is an in-office position, and the ability to be flexible with scheduling is helpful.

Job Duties

  • Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of Curriculum Office committees.
  • Schedules and maintains the annual calendar for educational programing.
  • Coordinates room reservations, and A/V needs.
  • Receives and responds to all request for curriculum-related information.
  • Establishes and maintains meeting/event records including recordings, minutes, attendance, presentations, notes, and evaluations.
  • Facilitates Curriculum Committee meetings including calendar coordination, agenda development, and action items.
  • Assists with the conference management-including hotel arrangements, scheduling rooms, conference registration, recruitment, and interview process, including scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements for CO Deans. 
  • Assists with travel arrangements for CO Deans to attend conferences.
  • Participates in planning and developing methods for program implementation and administration.
  • Assists with A/P processes.
  • Provides administrative support for the Curriculum Office Deans/Directors, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, preparing correspondence, answering phones, or greeting visitors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Above average Microsoft skills.
  • Experience with Zoom and Microsoft TEAMS.
  • Candidate must be willing to learn several assignments - cross training on all aspects of the program is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in a professional, academic, or hospital related setting.
  • Event management or program coordination experience.
