Title: Coordinator, Procurement
Summary
The Baylor College of Medicine Supply Chain Services Division is seeking a Coordinator, Procurement - Contracts and Compliance to provide assistance to technical procurement personnel related to routine procurement matters.
Job Duties
- Monitors existing contract assignments, expirations, modifications, and renewals.
- Assists in reviewing, developing, maintaining, and appropriate sharing of department-related documents and contracts database.
- Assists in amending contracts and obtaining appriate approvals.
- Operates in SAP modules for Procurement, Contracts management, and Accounts Payable.
- Identifies issues that arise with the campus community and/or vendors that are directly related to procurement contracts.
- Coordinates with staff, college departments, and pertinent contractors at all stages of the procurement process to ensure contract execution and adherence to Uniform Guidance.
- Processes contract documentation in accordance with College policies and procedures.
- Prepares reports for Senior department staff when requested.
- Proactively identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities within the contracts and compliance department, and its interation with college-wide principals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with online Contract Management platforms.
