Title: Coordinator, Procurement - Contracts
Summary
The Coordinator, Procurement candidate will perform contract reviews, negotiations, and contract management in adherence to the Uniform Guidance related to Education, Medicine and Research settings.
Job Duties
- Provide support to senior department staff, program managers, principal investigators, and faculty in the area of procurement including, but not limited to, review the financial terms and conditions of agreements; ensure appropriate documentation is obtained for contract solicitation, renewals, extensions, and modifications in accordance with Uniform Guidance criteria.
- Monitor existing contract assignments, expirations, modifications, and renewals.
- Assist in review, development and maintain appropriate sharing of department-related documents and contracts database.
- Assist in amending contracts and obtain appropriate approvals.
- Operate in SAP modules for Procurement, Contracts management, and Accounts Payable.
- Identify issues that arise with the campus community and/or vendors that are directly related to procurement contracts.
- Coordinate with staff, college departments, and pertinent contractors at all stages of the procurement process to ensure contract execution and adherence to Uniform Guidance.
- Process contract documentation in accordance with College policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports for Senior department staff.
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvement opportunities within the contracts and compliance department, and its interaction with college-wide principals.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two to five years of relevant experience.
- Experience with SAP modules for Procurement, Contracts management and Accounts Payable.
- Experience in BOTH legacy SAP technology and new SAP modules.
- Experience in IT systems reorganization and transition or upgrade.
