Salary Range:  $47,372 to $55,731
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support to faculty and staff within a academic medical environment. This position plays a key role in coordinating day-to-day operations and assisting managing the department. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, detail-orientated, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting and is committed to supporting clinical, educational, and operational excellence.   

 

Job Duties

  • Provides administrative support to faculty and coordinators schedules, to include maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, finding meeting locations, creating agendas and taking notes, and creating documents.
  • Arranges domestic and international travel using Concur and submits and tracks reimbursements for travel and other faculty-related expenses.
  • Assists with faculty credentialing and renewals, licensing tracking, faculty CV formatting, and general office duties (e.g., phones, sanitation).
  • Answers department main phone line, screen and route telephone calls, assist in maintaining contact list updates, assist with department mail and maintains division shared email inbox & calendar.
  • May provide additional support to faculty as needed.
  • Coordinates new patient consultation appointments for faculty to include scheduling, financial clearance and retrieving health information. 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
