The Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center (DLDCCC) is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to join our administrative team. The DLDCCC is one of only 51 NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers nationwide (one of three in Texas). This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time-management skills, and attention to detail are equally important in this position.  This position provides administrative support to Baylor College of Medicine (BCM)/Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (BSLMC) oncology service line's leadership, faculty and staff, as well as to the clinical breast oncology program's faculty and staff.

The Business Operations Coordinator's ability to adapt to constant change in a complex organizational structure is crucial. The DLDCCC clinical section is both a newly organized internal administrative structure (DLDCCC department 310) and new clinical structure (DLDCCC at BSLMC). This position is part of a team that supports clinical, business and research operations within a specialty (Breast Oncology) and across an oncology service line within a joint venture. This involves working closely with another institution, CHI St. Luke’s, and major BCM departments and central units (Medicine, Surgery, Ob Gyn, Amb Ops, Finance). This team constantly absorbs temporary and permanent responsibilities as the oncology service line grows exponentially. Continuous process improvement is mandatory.
