Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

he Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH), Department of Pediatrics – Critical Care Medicine (CCM) is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of attending critical care physicians, advanced practice providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants), post¬doctoral fellows, and research support personnel committed to the care of patients suffering from a life-threatening illness or injury.  The Division of Critical Care Medicine is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time role as a Coordinator, Business Operations, to support the Intensive Care Units (ICU) faculty, staff, and trainees.

 

Work location: Texas Medical Center

 

This role may have an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule following a successful 90-day training period.

Job Duties

Administrative
•    Composes formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
•    Calendar scheduling and maintenance.
•    May assist with timekeeping.
•    Updates faculty CVs.
•    Assists with tracking documentation of training and educational activities.
•    Provides additional support to faculty members as needed.

Finance & Business Operations
•    Assists with departmental business and financial processes (compiling, reviewing, reconciling expenses).
•    Prepares and processes purchasing orders, initiate contract approvals, and request new vendors.
•    Manages travel arrangements and reimbursements for faculty (flight, hotel, etc.)
•    Submits non-travel expenses for faculty reimbursements.

Other 
•    Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
•    Experience with submitting Supplemental Payment requests.
