Summary
Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Operations Associate for the Baylor Medicine Gastroenterology & Digestive Health specialty clinics. The Clinical Operations Associate will oversee day-to-day operations, managing staff time and attendance and implement strategies to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. The Clinical Operations Associate will also collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and work towards continuous improvement in service delivery.
This position will contribute to the implementation of measures to ensure compliance with policies around patient experience, patient access, clinical reporting, and physician schedule utilization. Will assign and maintain staff schedules and prepare decision support data and reports to guide management decisions in adjusting workflows to accomplish outcome goals.

Job Duties
- Supports daily clinic operations to ensure smooth workflows and patient flow.
- Assists in tracking and reporting clinic metrics such as productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Helps coordinate clinic staff schedules and monitor time and attendance records.
- Participates in identifying areas for process improvement and support implementation efforts.
- Collaborates with clinic staff to assist in executing process improvement initiatives.
- Provides support during onboarding of new services and staff.
- Ensures clinic activities align with healthcare regulations and standards under supervision.
- Contributes to maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery.
- Helps address patient concerns and escalate issues to appropriate personnel when needed.
- Promotes a patient-centered approach in daily tasks and interactions.
- Coordinates with other departments and providers to support comprehensive patient care.
- Facilitates communication within the clinic team and assist with external coordination.
- Monitors clinic supplies and equipment usage to support operational efficiency.
- Assists in preparing reports and decision support data for leadership review.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Certification/Licenses/Registration: None Required.
