Summary

Manages and coordinates the activities of the Program for Immigrant and Refugee Child Health (PIRCH) to ensure that goals and objectives of the program and related projects are accomplished within budget and on specified time frame.  Will report directly to the program director, work closely with the program director, and partner/communicate directly with team members. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. MPH or related degree strongly preferred.

Job Duties
  • Works with the program director and team to develop program goals, action plans, and processes for project completion from inception to evaluation.
  • Manages the projects and activities of the program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives, within budget, and on specified timeline.
  • Reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is made toward specified program objectives.
  • Participates in program monitoring and evaluation and presents recommendations for improvements to Program Director and team. Helps team to implement agreed-upon changes.
  • Tracks data and performs straightforward data analyses to show program outputs, outcomes, and impact.
  • Becomes familiar with stakeholders in immigrant health (both locally and nationally).
  • Builds and sustains relationships with community partners that provide services to immigrant and refugee children.
  • Coordinates regular program meetings with program members and partners. Develops meeting agendas, creates meeting minutes, and tracks ongoing responsibilities/task lists.
  • Travels locally and regionally as needed in order to sustain community and partner relationships.
  • Participates in the preparation of funding proposals and in the allocation of funds that are received.
  • Participates in the preparation of policy and other written material as required.
  • Manages content related to program on website and other social media.
  • Consistently displays a highly collaborative, proactive work style.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor's degree.
  • Required: Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Public Health or similar field of study
  • Specific experience with community partner development, establishment within the immigrant health community, experience with grant writing and fund development, advocacy/policy experience or orientation.
