Responsible for regular reporting, benefits related data entry, and data review such as identifying newly benefits eligible employees or employees with benefit ineligible dependents; weekly processing new hire default enrollments, new dependents, and benefit changes during the year; data reconciliation with various benefit vendors as needed.

Job Purpose

This position has a general knowledge of employee benefits and is capable of explaining and educating employees of the benefit plans. The representative will provide a level of detail and organization to the team that will ensure continued overall success in the programs provided to employees. This position will focus on maintinaing employee benefit data and systems to ensure no lapse in services to employees.

Job Duties

  • Knowledable about the various programs available to employees to provide assistance with explaining benefit programs to employees.
  • Performs benefits data entry and reporting to ensure timely updates to vendors and service to employees.
  • Provides next level support to benefits team when system errors occur during benefit enrollment process. This includes identifying and documenting regularities to be reported to other departments, such as IT and Finance, to reach collaborative resolution.
  • Creates positive relationships and communicates with benefits team and outside vendors to maintain benefits data integrity and quickly resolve any issues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (excel, word, access, adobe).
  • Previous two plus years in this or related field.
  • Experience with handling reporting in SAP and/or SuccessFatcors.
