This position will serve as the full cycle recruiter and will have regular interaction with Administrators, Directors and Managers. Identify and actively recruit the most qualified candidates for employment at Baylor College of Medicine. Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and strategy. Manage the entire recruitment process including sourcing, recruiter interview, manager interview, assessments, background verifications and job offer. 

Identifies and actively recruits the most qualified candidates for employment at Baylor College of Medicine. Performs all aspects of recruiting, in various disciplines, including: screening resumes, candidate interviews, processing referrals, posting jobs, reference checks, license verification, and extending offers.


Job Duties

  • Proactively establish pipeline of qualified and passive candidates through various sourcing techniques. Leverage applicant tracking system for all candidate workflow including application, interviews, offers and onboarding.
  • Research and understand current industry and recruitment trends. Adept at using creative and cutting-edge ways to recruit.
  • Responsible for using independent judgment and decision-making, responsible for recruiting advisement and consulting to assist assigned departments/clients with their short and long-term recruiting strategies, while demonstrating and delivering superior customer service. Work with departments/clients to educate them on the range of recruiting products and services available. Promote utilization of full recruiting services.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key partners to understand hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies. 
  • Source, evaluate and close on incredible talent for a range of roles. 
  • Proactively build applicant pipelines to meet current and future business needs.
  • Maintain relationships with past candidates for future opportunities.
  • Strategically source potential hires from diverse backgrounds.
  • Counsel departmental contacts on various issues which may include: compensation, HR policies and procedures, advertisements, and offers.
  • Participate in special projects as needed including: career fairs, on-campus recruiting, and summer programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
