This is a temporary position working an estimated 2 months. Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. This position is not eligible for benefits.


Position is located at John McGovern Campus, 2450 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77021.

Job Duties

•            Provides advanced administrative support for the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion  
•            Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion  
•            Oversees recruitment for OIDEI programs and events  
•            Monitors and audits program activities to ensure compliance with applicable accrediting agency 
•            Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of training and educational activities 
•            Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, seminars, ceremonies, or special events 
•            Provides administrative support for the director and associate directors; including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and updating education materials 
•            May assist with program budget planning and monitoring 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in higher education and/or relevant medical/mental health settings with high achieving professional patient populations. 
  • Experience in successfully working in a complex, fast-paced environment. 
  • Accomplished and effective communicator: superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, and proven ability to work with diverse constituencies. 
  • Extensive work with diverse communities and cultural appreciation for diversity, equity, inclusion.
